Privacy Policy

Some older apps still open 4kiq.com, or this privacy page, for support or privacy. This policy applies to those apps as well as to BabySmile. Write to app@4kiq.com and name the app.
Those apps do not sell personal information. A permission — camera, photos, location, health, or anything else the system asks for — is used for the feature you turned on, on the device, unless that app tells you otherwise. Purchases, if the app has them, are handled by Apple or Google. We do not receive your card number. This website has no account and no contact form.
The short version
BabySmile is a camera. Smile and eye checks run on your iPhone. Photos you keep are saved to your Photo Library. There is no account. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the camera to train models that invent faces or smiles.
Camera
With your permission, BabySmile uses the camera for a live preview and to notice smiles and open eyes so it can take the photo at the right moment. Those frames are processed on the device for that purpose. We do not upload the preview stream.
Photos
With your permission, BabySmile saves pictures you choose to keep into the Photo Library. You can share a saved photo with the system share sheet; that share goes only where you send it. We do not operate a cloud gallery for the app.
Purchases
BabySmile Plus is an optional one-time unlock, not a subscription. Apple processes the payment through the App Store. We learn whether Plus is owned so the app can unlock it. We do not receive your card number.
Settings on the device
Choices such as smile and eye toggles, and the count of free Auto-click saves, stay in the app’s local preferences on the phone. They are not sent to us.
If you write to app@4kiq.com, we receive the message and the usual email headers so we can reply. We use that only for support. We do not sell inquiry lists.
This website
4kiq.com does not use a contact form or an account. The host may keep ordinary server logs (such as IP address, browser, and the page requested) for security. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser.
What we do not do
- No account or sign-in
- No advertising identifier and no tracking across other companies’ apps
- No third-party analytics or crash reporter in the current app
- No sale of personal information
Children
Parents and caregivers use BabySmile to photograph children. The app is not a social network and is not directed at children as account holders. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If a support email includes a child’s information and you want it deleted, write to us and we will delete it where we are required to.
Your choices
- Turn Camera or Photos off in iOS Settings. Related features stop working.
- Delete the app to remove its on-device preferences.
- Manage the Plus purchase with your Apple ID.
- Email us to ask for access to, or deletion of, information you sent by email.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change.
Terms
If an app links to 4kiq.com for terms, the same address applies. The app is provided through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and that store’s rules cover the purchase. The app is a tool, not professional medical, legal, or childcare advice. Questions go to app@4kiq.com.
